The smc FA 645 400mm f/5.6 ED IF Lens from Pentax is a medium format, manual and autofocusing telephoto lens with a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 315mm. Extra-low dispersion (ED) glass is used to eliminate chromatic aberration for improved sharpness and contrast. Multi-coatings offer protection and prevent reflections on the inside of the lens to minimize ghosting and flare. Also helping to prevent flare is the supplied large lens hood. Quick AF/MF switching is also possible, and an internal focusing system enables easy MF operation and improves focusing speed while minimizing lens extension, allowing for a closer minimum focus distance. Additionally, the lens features a rotating tripod collar with clip to enable speedy switching between vertical and horizontal orientations.
